By using the centre mounting hole the transponder can be permanently affixed at the object which has to be identified by means of screw or rivet. As well the mounting hole provides the possibility to use a cable tie or metal steel wire to mount the tag on valves or machine equipment in rugged hazardous area environment. Suitable stationary and portable ATEX certifierd LF and portable HF RFID readers are available
